Accessibility

Accessibility allows everyone to be included in the university community. In an accessible university, the physical spaces, electronic systems, learning environments, teaching methods and attitudes support the inclusion and equality of all staff members and students regardless of their personal features or life situations.

Accessibility work in University of Lapland

The monitoring and development of accessibility issues are part of the university’s work on equality and non-discrimination. The accessibility work is based on the Non-Discrimination Act, and it is part of the University of Lapland’s Equality and Non-Discrimination Plan. Facilities

We put great effort into the safety and healthiness of our facilities. The principle guiding the use of facilities is that each staff member and student has the chance to work in the university’s facilities. Please give us feedback on the accessibility of our facilities if you notice that there’s room for improvement.
