Sustainable Naturecultures and Multispecies Future Symposium
Registration
All participants and presenters must register for the symposium and pay the registration fee. Registration opens on this website on 21 May 2025. The registration deadline for accepted presenters is 4 August 2025. Abstracts without a registered presenter will be removed from the conference programme. Please register for the conference and evening events using the online registration form.
The conference registration fee is
- 190 €
- 120 € for PhD students*
*Students: please send a proof of a full-time student status (ID card or letter from your institution or program director) to the conference office by email (congress@ulapland.fi)
The registration fee includes:
- Admission to all sessions
- Admission to Human-environment relationality exhibition
- Lunches and coffee/tea during breaks mentioned on the programme
- Conference materials
- Welcoming reception on Tuesday 23 September
- Dinner on Wednesday 24 September
Accommodation
The organizers have booked room quotas for the event in several hotels in the city centre. All hotel reservation are made directly with the hotel. See all the event hotels below.

The room can be canceled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival, and payment is made upon arrival. If you do not show up, fail to cancel in advance, or cancel with less than 7 days before arrival, you will be charged the full amount of the stay as a cancellation fee.

Discount on the daily rate with the reservation code CCON. Reservations are made at www.scandichotels.fi. To confirm the reservation, the guest must provide the hotel with valid credit card details. Rooms can be booked according to the hotel's availability no later than 10 days before arrival.

The price includes breakfast, evening sauna, wireless internet, and VAT.
Accommodation reservations include a free cancellation option up to 30 days before arrival, after which a 100% charge will apply via a payment link sent by email. Rooms can be reserved from the quota, until 24 August 2025 after which they will be available according to general availability.
