Well-being and Health

Student well-being, quality of life, energy levels, and ability to study are influenced by many factors—such as your health, hobbies, and relationships. On this page, you’ll find helpful information, practical tips, and a variety of services designed to support your well-being and help you thrive during your studies.
Student well-being services
Student well-being services provide, for example, guidance and counseling on various study-related and well-being issues. The services are staffed by university counselors, a study psychologist, and a well-being instructor.
On the website of the Student Well-being Services, you can find more detailed instructions, for example, on how to book an appointment with a university social worker, as well as a lot of useful information to support your studies and take care of your own well-being.
More Services to Support Your Well-Being
Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS) supports your health and well-being throughout your studies. FSHS is an expert of student health services, and they offer you low-threshold services on general, oral and mental health. They also take care of the well-being of student communities.
With a Wellness pass you get to do sports, enjoy culture and support your overall well-being in a variety of ways. The Student Union of the University of Lapland coordinates the Wellness pass.
