Matters related to studies and study rights

Student Services

Is your question related to the right to study or the certificate of your student status? The Student Services support the whole university; hence it is usually best to contact your own faculty’s Student Affairs Office as a first step. If they don’t know how to help you, they will forward your message to someone who can.

The University of Lapland’s Student Services are here to help you on weekdays primarily by e-mail.

Information on degree programmes, study modules, minor subjects and courses can be found in the study guide and Peppi study information system (if you have a valid study right).

If your question is related to language studies, the University of Lapland’s Open University studies, international studies or Career Services, please contact the parties directly:

If you have questions related to specific courses (course registration, completion of a course, receiving assessments), contact the teacher of the course directly. Course teachers can be found in Peppi.

Need study guidance?

When you need guidance and support in your studies, you can ask for help from the university’s guidance services, or if you are a degree student, from your Tutor Teacher (MyTeacher). University social workers, the study psychologist and FSHS are also here to help you.
