Remote meetings
Zoom is an online meeting service that operates similarly to Microsoft Teams meetings. Zoom enables the most common functions used in teaching and online meetings. With Moodle integration, a teacher can create a Zoom space directly from Moodle. Zoom recordings are saved to the Kaltura video sharing service, from where they can be shared with students in Moodle.

With the Microsoft Teams application, you can have instant message, voice, and video conversations, as well as organize online meetings. Microsoft Teams also includes personal presence information, which is based on your electronic calendar or a setting you define yourself.
Usage primarily occurs through the Microsoft Teams software, which can be installed on PCs, Macs, and most smart devices. On Windows workstations maintained by the IT service area of the University of Lapland, the Microsoft Teams software is pre-installed.
You can find more usage instructions on the manufacturer’s website.
