Wireless network (WLAN) and wired network (LAN)
Our staff’s Windows laptops and tablets automatically log into the wireless LUC network, which provides nearly all the same services as a wired network connection.
With other devices, such as smartphones and non-Windows tablets or Apple Mac computers, you can log into the Eduroam network.
Connect your device to the Eduroam network. Your username is in the format username@ulapland.fi, for example mmeikalai@ulapland.fi. The password is the same one you use for logging into your email.
In case of any issues, please contact the IT service desk.
Our university uses a wired LAN network. However, connecting personal devices to fixed network points is prohibited. The exception is in the guest house facilities, where specifically marked sockets are available for connecting your own device.
